Born and raised in Miami, Dr. Osvaldo Cabrera is the son of Cuban immigrants who instilled in him the values of hard work, discipline, and education. His journey into optometry began during his undergraduate studies at Florida International University, where shadowing a family friend ignited his passion for improving lives through eye care. Dr. Cabrera earned his Doctorate of Optometry and Bachelor of Vision Science from Nova Southeastern University, gaining comprehensive training in primary eye care, specialty contact lenses, pediatric optometry, and ocular disease.

After graduation, Dr. Cabrera expanded his expertise by working alongside ophthalmologists, providing full-scope medical eye care, including cataract surgery management, glaucoma treatment, and diabetic retinopathy care.
